I dream of Roast turkey

We all remember this don't we

After scouring many recipes on Roast turkey on the internet I had to go back to my two original contenders- Nigella Lawson’s spicy juicy roast turkey vs Jamie Oliver’s the best roast turkey recipe. At the moment I’m tempted to chuck the turkey and go out to dinner or buy a pre-cooked one. How do all the ladies do it! (or men for that matter).

The thing is I’m qualified for a free turkey (thank you Pathmark) and that’s cuz I’ve spent $300 in 2 weeks. That’s what is the cost of saving!

Anyway it looks like I’m going to do Jamie’s recipe but I’d need to tweak it onto the spicier side. I’m Indian and we can’t do without our spices. In fact my new obsession lately is spiced tea or chai as we call it. I got Twinnings and theirs wasn’t really strong flavored. I could swear I’d have made a ’spicier’ tea. I did go to the tea aisle today but didn’t really pick another brand. Maybe I should research on the internet for the best spiced tea.

One random cool thing about me, I can control my sneeze. Where’d that come from? Correct, I just controlled one (my husband’s on a conference call so everybody shushhh)

Alright then, I look forward to Thanksgiving and a sumptuous supper, be it at home or out. I wonder if I could eat Japanese food instead. There’s something about the Japanese. I’m so intrigued by them and I wonder what my connection is with them…I’m sure all the sushi I eat and all the Japan vacation talk I do must have some meaning. Right?

Husband are you listening?

Um he’s on the phone walking all around me but just not looking at me or the screen. Coincidence? I think not.

Okay…turkey it is.
